Digital Crew

My role: Project Manager | Lead Designer

Starting
Point

At Digital Crew, my role was to optimize web development workflows, ensuring more efficient and high-quality delivery.

From the first meeting with clients to implementation and post-launch improvements, my focus was on enhancing team productivity and raising the standards in design and development.

One of the biggest challenges was the lack of structure in the processes, which led to longer delivery times and communication issues between designers and developers. My goal was to establish a clear methodology that would facilitate collaboration and reduce errors.

The Challenge

One of the biggest challenges was the lack of structure in the processes, which led to longer delivery times and communication issues between designers and developers. My goal was to establish a clear methodology that would facilitate collaboration and reduce errors.

It was not just about making websites but creating experiences that left a strong impression.
  • Workflow Optimization: Define a more structured process from design to development.
  • Reduction of QA Errors: Implement effective reviews before delivering projects to clients.
  • Improvement in Project Management: Unify tools and train the team in their use.

The goal: optimized project delivery, with higher quality and smoother communication.

Action
Plan

To address these challenges, I implemented practical solutions that improved the team's operability:

To improve the transition between design and development, I implemented the use of Figma instead of Photoshop. This helped optimize the handoff process and improve file organization. I also trained the team on using real-time comments to speed up reviews and reduce response times.
In project management, I introduced ClickUp as the main tool for documenting tasks and prioritizing deliveries. This allowed the team to have a clear workflow, avoiding delays due to lack of information or poor priority management.
In web development, I optimized the way websites were built in WordPress, standardizing processes to reduce production time without sacrificing quality. This allowed developers to work more efficiently with fewer corrections.
Finally, I structured a more rigorous QA process, ensuring that each delivery went through a pre-validation. I developed checklists to review visual consistency and technical functionality, which helped significantly reduce errors before launch.

Impact
and Product
Evolution

The implementation of Figma, ClickUp, and a structured QA system allowed Digital Crew to operate more efficiently and effectively.

  • Reduced delivery times by optimizing the workflow and eliminating unnecessary bottlenecks.
  • Fewer rounds of QA corrections, shifting from multiple revisions to a more efficient process.
  • Greater efficiency in the design-to-development transition, with fewer errors and better communication.
  • Improved internal coordination, ensuring that each team worked aligned with the new tools.
